Cheryl Adams

SET DECORATION

Cheryl is an Atlanta based Production Designer and Set Decorator, in the TV and Film Industry. Having worked in the industry for almost 20 years, these experiences have allowed her to stretch her mind, vision, and creative skills far beyond that of most designers. She has designed everything from casinos, hospitals, to mansions, and everything in between. She even manages to find time to still run a successful interior design firm. Some of her celebrity client list includes, Tyler Perry, Will Packer, and entertainer Tameka “Tiny” Harris, of Xscape and TI’s Family Hustle.

Eddy Anderson

DRONE PILOT/COACH

Eddy Anderson brings a wealth of knowledge to the new world of drone technology.  Keeping pace with today’s latest technology, Eddy teamed up with Damon Darnall, “The Drone Boss” and the SkyEye Network for training on the latest small unmanned aircraft systems. 
Eddy’s experience as a filmmaker and documentarian, directing on location, camera techniques and non-linear video editing allows him to provide students a unique insight into the filmmaking industry and a unique perspective on the creative use of drones in that environment.

Marc Baldwin

MUSIC INSTRUCTOR

Hailing from Raleigh, NC, Marc Baldwin has been performing, producing and
educating for over 15 years. Growing up around rock, jazz and blues, Marc
performed all over the southeast until deciding to take his music knowledge to the
next level by entering the University of North Carolina at Asheville (UNC-A). At
UNC-A, Marc received a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Performance/Composition. Marc Baldwin moved to the Atlanta, GA where he has been a professional musician since 2000. Since living in Atlanta, Marc has performed and recorded with and for the Atlanta Hawks, Sony Records, Def Jam Records, the NBA, ASCAP, the Atlanta Braves, Home Depot, GA Pacific and the Jazz at Lincoln Center to name a few. Marc also produces high quality music through his production company Musical Mindz. He has worked with and for MTV, EA Sports, FOX Sports, Sony Ent, Universal, Def Jam Records, BET, TV Land and many many
local groups/artists. Marc also teaches music lessons with the guitar, bass guitar and recording arts. As a music technology instructor he currently teaches at SAE Institute and The Atlanta International School. 

Simeon Daise

ACTING COACH

South Carolina bred actor and director, Simeon Daise, is no stranger to the entertainment industry. As a child, he starred in Nickelodeon’s hit television show “Gullah Gullah Island” alongside his family.
Since then, he has spent his time developing his skills as an actor, screenwriter, director, and singer/songwriter while studying under the tutelage of legendary actors and directors, with his parents Ron and Natalie Daise as primary influences. He has also continued to remain a constant fixture in television and has made appearances in hits like, Tyler Perry’s “The Haves and the Have Nots,” BET’s “The Bobby Brown Story”, and most recently played the role of Reggie Michaels, a revolutionary gangster, on “American Soul” on BET. Aside from television, Simeon has performed in staged productions throughout Georgia and the Carolinas: A Lesson Before Dying, The King and I, Romeo and Juliet, and Chrono Metro Phobia to name a few. Daise is honored by the opportunity to show his versatility on the other end of the spotlight.

 

Casey Graham

MUSIC PUBLISHING

Grammy/Multi-Platinum award winning Producer, Engineer Casey Graham brings his unique talent and energy to his music. His skills have helped to sell more than 4 million records. Born and raised in Savannah, GA, Casey, studied recording arts at The Conservatory of Recording arts and Sciences in Phoenix, AZ and has worked with the likes of Alvin Speights (LaFace Records), Jeff Lane (Chicago Recording Company), Slavic Livins (FMG Chicago), Mark Christensen (Engine Room NYC) and many others.

Deatra L. Harris

PRODUCER

Deatra L. Harris is the Founder and CEO of 2466 Entertainment Group, an entertainment, social and creative impact organization. As an award-winning filmmaker, Deatra has written, directed and produced several short films and commercials that have featured in festivals across the US and Internationally. She’s worked with Nickelodeon writing executives as well as some of the most talented Independent filmmakers in the industry. Deatra holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems, a Masters Degree in Marketing and is currently a Ph.D. Doctoral student at Pepperdine University in the Global Leadership and Change Program.

Jibril Haynes

FILM DIRECTOR

Jibril Haynes is a multi award-winning writer/director. The Boston native founded Origin Nile Films after graduating from Clark Atlanta, and began producing short and feature films. A self-taught editor, he excelled at his artistry and was soon hired to edit videos in the Boston area, by organizations like Harvard University, The Boston Health Commission, etc. Jibril taught film production for several years in Boston before moving to Georgia. There he penned the children’s political satire, ‘Free World Elementary’, a comedic mainstay on World News channels. With a critical ear for sound design and directing actors in frame, Jibril believes anything is possible with storytelling.

Darcel Johnson

SOFTWARE TRAINER

Darcell Johnson is a Training and Development Specialist who has worked in both the public and private sectors, within various industries. Darcell has more than 20 years of project and employee management experience, as well as more than 20 years of employee training and development experience. Darcell’s expertise is in leadership, computer applications and project management training. Darcell is a Microsoft Office Specialist at the Master Level (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access). Darcell has designed and facilitated many training courses in both applications and soft skills.

Derek Linzy

MUSIC PRODUCTION

Derek began his professional recording and music production career in 2002 and the highlight of his career came when he eventually worked with music legend, Prince as an Audio Engineer at Paisley Park Studios 2013. His other clients included Coolio, The Oxygen Channel, Chuck D of Public Enemy, and many others. As well as music production, Derek teaches piano and guitar, as well as an online music course at the University of Illinois.

Zena McArthur

MONETIZE  YOUR MUSIC

Zena holds her BA in Music Business from the Alabama State University. She is the owner of her own touring band and a rising songwriter in the music industry. Zena’s teaching specialties include, vocal training, vocal performance and Music Publishing. Zena’s main focus as a teacher is to help the students shape their voice, find their own sound, create a memorable presence on stage all as well as giving the knowledge needed to own their own intellectual property.

Miss M

ETIQUETTE COACH

Marilyn J. Evans, better known as “Miss M”, has taught etiquette to thousands of clients over the past three decades. Her client list includes celebrities, prestigious universities, leading firms, as well as non-profit organizations and foundations. She is a renowned spokesperson, highly regarded transformation leader, and motivator. A native of Michigan, she trains individuals in etiquette and protocol while helping them to gain confidence and skills appropriate for any setting. An experienced educator and educational consultant has served many years in the public school setting. Miss M’s passion, creativity, and intellect in etiquette and confidence building are helping to shape the “new deal” for civility in the 21st century.

Calvin Mitchell

THEATRE PRODUCTION

Calvin W. Mitchell Sr., Founder & CEO of Collective Creation Entertainment, LLC brings over 25 years of experience to the urban entertainment market. The Ohio native obtained a Business Management Degree from Franklin University. He began writing and producing theatre productions in 2009. The hallmark of his playwriting is when his talent was solicited by Morehouse College Martin Luther King International Chapel to write and produce the theatre musical A New Birth of Freedom. Other theatre productions include Can You Keep A Secret, Don’t Tell Mama, and a host of other musical comedy stage plays and screenplays that will be filmed and performed on stage in the near future.

Edwin O.G. Myles

PODCAST COACH

Edwin Myles (commonly referred to as O.G.) has become one of the most highly respected figures in the world of entertainment in the nation. With more than three decades of music, film, marketing and promotions, talent management, and consulting experience, he is the youngest forefather of Hip-Hop music. As CEO of Hoodrich Films LLC, O.G. was personally mentored by the legendary Godfather of Hip-Hop culture, Afrika Bambaataa, who inspired O.G.’s love for helping struggling artists achieve their goals. To date the company is responsible for breaking a wide variety of artists representing pop, country, hip-hop, r&b, rock, reggae, gospel, Latino, neo soul, and alternative. O.G. also founded revolutionary internet based company, IDJ MP3 Blast and International Disc Jockey Trade Association (IDJTA), which has a growing membership of more than 100,000 members.

Tim Orange

SCREENWRITER/DIRECTOR

Tim Orange II is a screenwriter/director hailing from Miami, Florida. After graduating from Florida State University as a student-athlete, life ushered him into a career in writing. Deciding to further his education, he went on to study theatre at Florida A&M University. While at FAMU, he stage-managed several plays, including August Wilson’s Gem of the Ocean. He also wrote and staged a reading of a full-length play, Yin, at FAMU’s Artists in Bloom Festival 2014. In addition to this, he wrote and staged a one-act play, that went on to be produced at the Undergraduate Playwrights Collective in Atlanta summer 2015. Having success in other forms of writing as well, he won first place in the College Language Association’s Creative Writing Contest for best drama spring 2014 and poetry spring 2016. He’s also published poetry in two literary magazines along with receiving his MFA in creative writing for entertainment from Full Sail University. Now living in Atlanta and writing for independent screenwriting label Damn Write Originals, he’s written and directed a web series and a few short films, one of which will air on Aspire TV December 2019. As a former athlete, Tim brings a unique passion and intensity to the craft of storytelling. 

Alexandra Phillips

ACTING COACH

Alexandra AsèOya [pronounced Ah-Shay Oh-YAH] is an Atlanta native with a lifetime passion for theater and the art of being. Alexandra has been acting since she was a youth and started acting in theater productions and theatrical programs around the city. With a growing passion, Alexandra went on to study acting at Alabama State University. She later studied Character Development for Stage and Film at Georgia State University. Since her collegiate years, she has gone to work in production for BET (Atlanta), and has performed for Impact Theatre (Atlanta), Fruitless Moon Theatreworks (San Diego), and Dramatic Guild (Montgomery).

Shanophia & Jessie

PRODUCTION HAIR & MAKEUP

Shanophia and Jessie are co-owners of Beauty Editors Hair Salon in Buckhead. Beauty Editors is private full hair and beauty service salon, offering healthy hair care services for all hair types, bridal hair and makeup, and beauty services in makeup application, brow shaping, and lash extensions. Their clientele consist of celebrities, everyday modern women, and they bring experience from the film and television hair and makeup arena. Together they want to share their knowledge with other beauty professionals, and enthusiast of the trade. 

Victor Thomas

Victor is a business intelligence/big data engineer, with more than 20 years in various technical consulting and staff positions. He is passionate about helping his clients solve complex business challenges and improving other’s quality of life using information technology strategically and efficiently. A graduate of St. Cloud State University studying Engineering Technology (Materials Science), Victor is ardent about sharing what he learns.  He is a volunteer mentor to young engineers and is often sought after to advise or participate on fund raising, new product development, web design, and audio/visual solutions for charitable organizations.  

Vaughn Thomas

ARTIST DEVELOPMENT

Vaughn Thomas served for more than 30 years as a music and record company executive for several artists and record companies including CBS, MCA, Arista and Geffen record labels. Mr. Thomas’ duties included publicist, artist development, and sales and marketing. Currently, Mr. Thomas is founder and president of Harmony Entertainment, a full service, multimedia entertainment company. Prior to forming HE, Mr. Thomas was President and CEO of the Sports Foundation, a non-profit youth development agency based in the South Bronx.

Deri Tyton

SCREENWRITER

Originally from Chicago, Deri Tyton is an Award-Winning Writer/Producer/Director and author, who has produced three critically sought-after films: Welcome To The Southside, The Party Line, and Love Bones. In each of these films, Deri deals with personal themes of Love & Sacrifice. While each film has had distribution, it was his latest independent film, FINDING FOREVER IN LOVE (2015), that pushed his writing, directing, and producing endeavors to new heights with a distribution deal at Robert Johnson’s streaming channel, Urban Movie Channel. He has since gone on to co-write web series, independent films, and television series, as well as produce a screenwriter’s handbook entitled, The Film Mechanic: The Process to Writing A Screenplay That Works. Deri holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Chicago State University and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing (Class Salutatorian) from Full Sail University.
Deri’s truest goal is to tell universal stories through his experiences of being Black in America.

Marilyn Williams

WARDROBE

Marilyn Williams is an established Designer and Tailor.  She is fourth generation designer with over 20 years’ experience. Her love for fashion has taken her on a quest to find training in many avenues of the fashion industry. Marilyn Williams is Torie-Mekhi’s Fashion Couture head designer and founder located in Lithonia Ga. She has spent many years expertly working as a seamstress in a mass production factory in Jamaica and later studied pattern making, design and construction of children’s wear, swim wear, tailoring, and extensively women’s wear. Marilyn is a dedicated individual that views designing/sewing as an art. Through custom design, mass production or alterations, the ultimate goal is the same; she wants each of her clients looks their best! Marilyn is an alumnus from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale in Florida and American Intercontinental University in Atlanta where she further develops all her past skills, also adding menswear to her list.

Tifani Wofford

VOCAL TRAINING

Tiffani T. Wofford is a singer, songwriter and actress. She has written for many artists on the rise, such as Singer Ten and hip hop duo Alma Ave. She appeared as a bonus feature on legendary hip hop artist Styles P’s latest album G-Host, song titled “Sky High”. Tiffani is currently cast in an upcoming series to be filmed soon with Marvelous films where you will also hear her original songs. She is a devoted member of the singing ensemble “One Voice Music Group” under the leadership of Keisha Jackson. Tiffani has more than 10 years experience performing live with bands and singing background.
